About Us

Welcome to our "about us" page! Coolcatpages.com is a collection of information and stories about cats. Click on the navigation bars on the left to explore the cat-related topics that interest you. If you like, you can contact us and tell us stories about your own feline friends. We will post whatever is appropriate on our pages.

Cats are fascinating creatures, and it is no wonder that they are the most popular pets in the world. The information on these pages is either carefully researched or reported from direct experience, either our own or the experience of family members and friends who live with cats.

There are three cats in our household who are the inspiration for this site, and they would like to introduce themselves.

Buster, sitting peacefully on the carpet in the picture below, is eight years old.

Then there's (Silly) Samson (below), who is five. These pictures are typical poses for both of them. Buster is calm and refined - maybe even a little shy. Samson… well, he’s just a nut! Further down the page, you can see our newest kitty as well as a dear friend that we lost earlier this year.

Meet Our Newest Addition

Yogi (below) is our newest kitty. We adopted him in April 2008 from Anjellicle Cats Rescue in New York City. He is about 10 months old and a little shy around new people. We're hoping he'll adjust well to our family, and maybe he will become a "people cat" in time. He is so sweet and so soft, and even though he seems shy on the surface, he loves to hang out and play!. His foster mom took him in along with her own two cats and as many as 8 other fosters! We are happy to give him a forever home.

BANDIT

Bandit crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on January 28, 2008. He was the friendliest cat we've ever known. He would climb onto the lap of someone he'd just met without any hesitation, and he loved spending time with his people friends. We love and miss Bandit very much.
